IF YOU LIKE ALL Lata Mangeshkar’S SONG GO FOR IT! There were many famous songs of Lata Mangeshkar available. This album has some very good songs like Uthaye Ja Unke Sitam - Nargis Speaks and Aayega Aanewala. This is my first Lata Mangeshkar Album and i must say i am blown away.
What sets Aayega Aanewala apart is Lata Mangeshkar’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Chale Jana Nahin is worth the money. Baharen Phir Bi Aayengi is a astounding song and it grows on you. The sound of Jiya Beqarar Hai is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Tum Na Jane Kis Jahan Mein Kho (3:09) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Legends - Disc I. Thandi Hawayen catches attention immediately, Katate Hain Dukh Mein - another great track from the Legends - Disc I album. Chandni Raaten Pyar Ki Baaten is simple, dignified and effective, Lata Mangeshkar refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Yeh Zindagi Usiki Hai. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. I have all of Lata Mangeshkar’s tracks and Phali Hui Hain Sapnon Ki Bahen is probably the most his introspective effort. Radha Na Bole Na Bole is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Ja Ja Re Ja sets the tone for the entire album. The opening track Rasik Balma is very much like you would expect from other albums. Yun Hasraton Ke Daag is the song that really did it for me. Aaja Re Pardes has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Bairan Neend Na Aaye is amazing song though, very addictive.
