This is the first studio album from April Sixth since bad diagnosis in 2005. In Memory isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Since completing 2005’s ‘Bring Me Down’, April Sixth fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. In Memory constantly brilliant.
Dear Angel (Alternate Version) is probably the highlight of the album. Dear Angel is worth the money. Foster is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Here I Am is so unique, as each one of the songs is. In Memory have really caught my ear and imagination. A fantastic track full of wonder. Living A Lie great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Roses - another great track from the In Memory album. Shadowed - My least favorite song on this album. April Sixth sings The Same As Me in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. You Come Around one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard.
