Arnold Gets Dressed is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Arnold On His Way is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle. Wayne Please Dont Be Late is possibly the best song Craig Armstrong has come up. Arnold Kidnaps Wayne is the more seemingly obscure song on The Clearing that bear up best to repeated listening. Some call The Clearing Main Theme Solo Piano from The Clearing as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. The Journey Into The Forest is a marvelous sing-along. Album opener A Cigarette Break is a bright, upbeat ditty. You can find feelings on this piece of art. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. I Love My Wife is perfect. Tim Yells At Fuller is one of my favorite songs by Craig Armstrong. Waynes Cell Phone Rings makes a person feel cool. I Love Him And She Admires Him is a medium tempo tune. All of songs on The Clearing and have something to say letting alone At The Stream. I listened to the opening track Its Blood and liked it a lot. The Clearing couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Wayne Makes A Run For It. Shes On The Move one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. First time I heard Stop Here Please was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.In You Need A Sign Of Life the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Dont Forget The Trash as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. The Interrogation catches attention immediately, Waynes Murder - another great track from the The Clearing album. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think I Have Everything I Need is my favorite song on The Clearing. The Clearing Main Theme Orchestral Version - I just love it.
