It has been fourteen years Los Angeles Negros’ last studio CD, “30 Romanticas (cd2)” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. ‘30 Romanticas (cd2)’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. IF YOU LIKE ALL Los Angeles Negros’S SONG GO FOR IT! IT makes me wanna dance!
Tres Palabras is a very catchy tune. Unica Estrella is a bit different from Los Angeles Negros stereotypical stuff. Pasion y Vida is the more seemingly obscure song on 30 Romanticas (cd2) that bear up best to repeated listening. Esa Mujer gives taste of what makes Los Angeles Negros special as a musician. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Porque Voy a Olvidarte. Once Maria gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Ya No Puedo Ser Tu Amante is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Voice of Los Angeles Negros in Ternura is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Vidas Aburridas is outstanding work of Los Angeles Negros. Noche Callada is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Los Angeles Negros allows each song to breathe and flourish. Que Calor Ese Sol - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. A fantastic track full of wonder. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener.
