The Chronicles Of Riddick isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. For older fans The Chronicles Of Riddick will put a massive smile accross your face. There is so much to love about Graeme Revell, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Hunt For Riddick is flawed, nonetheless pretty good song. Vaako Conspiracy is the most memorable and amazing. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. In Sweet Spot you won’t find any flashy solos. Animal Side as a highlight of The Chronicles Of Riddick contains a ton of marvelous melodies. I hope to keep hearing Graeme Revell works for a long time to come. Save My Family very upbeat. Some of the arrangements found on The Chronicles Of Riddick are surprisingly edgy. After about the third Helion Attack, Pt. 2 listen through, I began to believe this song is Graeme Revell’s essence. Voice of Graeme Revell in Imam’s Death is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Necromongers - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Graeme Revell. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. In Hellhounds the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Pop The Cock rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Slam is a amazing, simple song by Graeme Revell at the top of his game. Furyan Energy had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Purifiers End on The Chronicles Of Riddick is solid and easy to listen to. Aereon Fortells is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Final Betrayals is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Keep What You Kill - This is a very lively song. Opening track End Credit (Final Chronicle) shows the best of Graeme Revell.
