Since Blood For Blood last CD (Serenity) on Mute Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. On Serenity album, Blood For Blood have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. It’s natural for Blood For Blood to take a stab at ‘A Prayer To The Night Sky’ considering her long-professed love for Godless Cruelty. Great Metal right here!
Serenity - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Hanging On The Corner rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. Live The Lie is possibly the best song Blood For Blood has come up. Vocals of Blood For Blood in A Rockn Roll Song really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. My Jesus Mercy - I like this one. Runaway is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Music in City Boy is exquisite as in all tracks of Serenity. Serenity (Reprise) is another strong production from Blood For Blood.
