I am not a real Metal: Alternative music type of person, but i have to admit ‘A Chorus of Obliteration’ really is amazing. five years ago, The Showdown briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Hell Can’t Stop Us Now”. A Chorus of Obliteration carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is one of The Showdown best albums
I can’t stop playing Hell Can’t Stop Us Now. Epic: A Chorus of Obliteration is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. From the Mouth of Gath Comes Terror is probably one of The Showdown’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. This song may be the most meaningful. Dagon Undone (The Reckoning) is simply cool. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. A fantastic track full of wonder. I loved Deus Invictus (Your Name Is Victory) the first time I heard it. Laid to Rest gives taste of what makes The Showdown special as a musician.
