Down Low’s debut, ‘Greatest Hits’, does not fit easily into one genre. Greatest Hits isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. three years ago, Down Low briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Murder”. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
Murder is one of the more up-tempo songs on Greatest Hits. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. I love the melodic melody of We Do It Like That and to this day it makes me feel good. The opening track Moonlight is very much like you would expect from other albums. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Hit Me Right is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. You have to get essence of the Once Upon a Time’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. H.I.V. - A classic Down Low track. So Long Goodbye which is my favorite is a truly Down Low sounding song. Thank You! is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Don’t You is worth the money. Wouldn’t It Be Good is a good listen every once in a while. Living in the Ghetto is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction.
