This disc has all of the essential Dillinja classics. This album has some very good songs like XTC and Thundersoul. On Spectrum album, Dillinja have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Check it every song is worth the money for the Spectrum CD!
Thundersoul is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. I love the melodic melody of Sides-Exodus and to this day it makes me feel good. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Reflections is possibly the best song Dillinja has come up. Precious is such a perfect and optimistic song that things can get just better. Hold It Down - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Low Down and Dirty as a highlight of Spectrum contains a ton of exquisite melodies. I loved Fizzy Piglets the first time I heard it. Music and lyrics of Feel My Pain creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Only one song from Spectrum named Dragonfly really got me. Voice of Dillinja in Again and Again is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant.
