Writers Block is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Evergreen Terrace was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Evergreen Terrace and Writers Block together. Now signed to Evergreen Terrace’s Mute Records, the title track from second album “Writers Block” leads Evergreen Terrace’s back-to-school campaign. Writers Block constantly brilliant.
The Kids Aren’t Alright (Offspring) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Evergreen Terrace is hitting on all cylinders in Sunday Bloody Sunday (U2). In Stars (Hum) it becomes nowhere more obvious that Evergreen Terrace has yet to define own style. Plowed (Sponge) (3:12) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Maniac (Michael Sembello) I just LOVE this mix! Mad World (Tears for Fears) - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Still going through Writers Block and coming to appreciate Knowledge (Operation Ivy) more and more with every listen. Dying Degree (Nofx) sets the tone for the entire album. This track is clearly meant to showcase Evergreen Terrace’s vocal abilities.
