After debuting at No. 1 last week, Mocedades’s album Eres Tu: Todos Los Grandes CD2 falls to No. 2 with 290,000, a sales slide of 58%. On Eres Tu: Todos Los Grandes CD2 album, Mocedades have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Since completing 2006’s ‘Amor De Hombre’, Mocedades fulfilled their contract with Savoy Records and where under no obligation to release another album. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Mocedades ever.
Le Llamaban Loca - I like this one. Donde Estas Corazon? one is one of the better boring ones. Ay Amor (Con Jose Luis Perales is absolutely incredible. Muertos De Amor - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. After about the third Desde Que Tu Te Has Ido listen through, I began to believe this song is Mocedades’s essence. Has Perdido Tu Tren - a classic song. Un Poco De Amor rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. In La Musica it becomes nowhere more obvious that Mocedades has yet to define own style. So much energy, so exciting a sound. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Poxa, which shows, blatantly, how much Mocedades has evolved as a singer. Asi Fue Nuestro Amor is one of the best records ever. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Recorre El Camino because the melody in the chorus is so good. Amor Primero (Con Patxi Andion is the funkiest number on the album. Ana Y Miguel stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Colores (Con Donovan) - To me, this is the best song on the Eres Tu: Todos Los Grandes CD2. I can’t stop playing Las Palabras. Sobreviviremos is really a nice song to relax and listen too. After you’ve listened to Corazon De Fiesta, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Music in La Guerrra Cruel (Con Sergio Y is exquisite as in all tracks of Eres Tu: Todos Los Grandes CD2.
