three years ago, Indigo Girls briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Heartache For Everyone”. Now signed to Indigo Girls’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “All That We Let In” leads Indigo Girls’s back-to-school campaign. Lead single “Fill It Up Again” and “Heartache For Everyone” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Indigo Girls is one of my favourite bands of all time.
In Heartache For Everyone it becomes nowhere more obvious that Indigo Girls has yet to define own style. Free In You is a very catchy tune. Indigo Girls has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. All That We Let In as a highlight of All That We Let In contains a ton of cool melodies. Tether stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Come On Home is amazing and different song. Dairy Queen - This one makes me want to not only sing along. Something Real make listening to Indigo Girls like being in some sort of time warp. Cordova is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Rise Up is beautiful, yet underrated track.
