two years ago, Horrorpops briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Hit ‘N Run”. This is one of the best Cd’s Horrorpops has dropped to date. Since completing 2005’s ‘Freaks In Uniforms’, Horrorpops fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. IT makes me wanna dance!
Hit ‘N Run is possibly the best song Horrorpops has come up. When I listen to Bring It On! in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. It’s Been So Long defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Undefeated without a doubt is the standout song of Bring It On!. You Vs. Me is beautiful, yet underrated track. Crawl Straight Home is a romantic if not formulaic ditty. Trapped is the astounding blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. Some call Walk Like A Zombie from Bring It On! as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Where You Can’t Follow is one of the best records ever. Caught In A Blonde - I like this one. S.O.B. is such a astounding and optimistic song that things can get just better. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely.
