It’s natural for Howie Day to take a stab at ‘Brace Yourself’ considering her long-professed love for KLF. This is one of the best Cd’s Howie Day has dropped to date. John Digester has compared writing for Howie Day’s new album to that on ‘Stop All the World Now’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Howie Day is one of my favourite bands of all time.
|titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Listening to Collide you can hear that Howie Day has still amazing chemistry with band members. Simple and heartfelt closing track Trouble In Here closes Stop All the World Now on a high note. Sunday Morning Song one of the best in my collection. I’ll Take You On has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with She Says. Howie Day sings his heart out in Numbness For Sound. You & A Promise is a very catchy tune. End Of Our Days as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely.
