Since completing 2005’s ‘Graveflower’, Acid Bath fulfilled their contract with Virgin Records and where under no obligation to release another album. ‘Demos: 1993-1996′ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Acid Bath had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Acid Bath “Demos: 1993-1996″ is an amazing album.
Nice and different song. Bleed Me An Ocean is just simply stunning. It took me a little time but I ended up loving The Bones of Baby Dolls. Finger Paintings of the Insane is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Jezebel is excellent and different song. Dope Fiend is absolutely incredible. God Machine is one of these floating songs. Some call The Morticians Flame from Demos: 1993-1996 as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Scream of the Butterfly (6:02) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! What Color is Death is a bit of a show-tune. Dr. Seuss is Dead is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Acid Bath released so far.
