Since completing 2006’s ‘Oully’, Natacha Atlas fulfilled their contract with EMI Records and where under no obligation to release another album. While no new Natacha Atlas album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2006 tour in Australia. IF YOU LIKE ALL Natacha Atlas’S SONG GO FOR IT! This is my first Natacha Atlas Album and i must say i am blown away.
|titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Mish Maoul. Hayanti Inta - My least favorite song on this album. Lyrics of Ghanwa Bossanova are precise and evocative. Bathaddak - A classic Natacha Atlas track. I hope to keep hearing Natacha Atlas works for a long time to come. Wahashni is the first taste of the new album. Haram Aleyk on Mish Maoul is solid and easy to listen to. La Lil Khowf is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. After about the third Yariet listen through, I began to believe this song is Natacha Atlas’s essence.
