Best of Bamboleo carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. It has been ten years Bamboleo’ last studio CD, “Best of Bamboleo” which won Array Grammy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. This is one of the best Cd’s Bamboleo has dropped to date. Lots of variety between tracks. My favorite is Ka Cha Cha (Previously Unreleased)
I can’t stop humming along Ka Cha Cha (Previously Unreleased). Opening is another favourite of mine. Con Un Canto En El Pecho is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Music of Si No Hablaras Tanto is gentle, never overbearing. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is La Tremenda. Te Gusto O Te Caigo Bien is pretty funky and mellow. This is probably my favorite song on the album. In Kimbara Kimbara it becomes nowhere more obvious that Bamboleo has yet to define own style. I like Yo No Me Parezco A Nadie because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Ya No Hace Falta is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Circulame is Bamboleo’s best work in years. Bamboleo sings Pelicula Vieja in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Opening Studio 10 is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Bamboleo ever produced.
