Unleashed isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. It has been one years Exilia’ last studio CD, “Unleashed” which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. ‘Unleashed’ kicks the album off with a blast of pure pop energy. Exilia “Unleashed” is an amazing album.
Music of Stop Playing God is gentle, never overbearing. Day In Hell is the song that really did it for me. Underdog is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Simple and heartfelt closing track Mr. Man closes Unleashed on a high note. Starseed is almost impossible to review. Shout Louder is the albums biggest surprise. I Guess You Know (feat. Micha / In Extremo) is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Without You is simple, dignified and effective, Exilia refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Where I’m Wrong is a song to enjoy for years to come.
