Edwin McCain had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Since Edwin McCain last CD (Scream and Whisper) on Capitol Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. Edwin McCain’s debut, ‘Scream and Whisper’, does not fit easily into one genre. Edwin McCain is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Shooting Stars is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Some call Throw It All Away from Scream and Whisper as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. I like the agression and power of Say Anything. Turning Around defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. I’ve found myself listening to Couldn’t Love You More back to back and back many times. Good Enough is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Once you hear How Can You Say That To Me, you will listen to it over and over. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Save The Rain - This is a very lively song. The opening track White Crosses is very much like you would expect from other albums. Wild At Heart is kind of track that compels you to skip back and drink it in one more time before moving on through Scream and Whisper. Nice and different song.
