This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Helmut Lotti. There is no doubt that Helmut Lotti has talent. Helmut Lotti’s debut, ‘From Russia With Love’, does not fit easily into one genre. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like From Russia With Love.
Lara’s theme is probably one of Helmut Lotti’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. This is one hell of a track. Voice of Helmut Lotti in Far east of the sun is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Kalinka - Check out that bassline! Two guitars - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. The song The legend of the 12 robbers ending is my favorite… so catchy! Hold me once more good vocals. Dorogoj dlinnoju is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. This song may be the most meaningful. This track, in particular, has the kind of undeniably catchy flavor. Moscow nights hits the heart. Poljushko polje is pretty funky and mellow. In Otschi tschornije it becomes nowhere more obvious that Helmut Lotti has yet to define own style. Within the first few notes of Russian National Hymn it’s perfectly clear that Helmut Lotti is living this song.
