There is so much to love about B2K, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. It’s natural for B2K to take a stab at ‘Bump Bump Bump (feat. P Diddy)’ considering her long-professed love for Azymuth. Since B2K last CD (Greatest Hits) on Blue Note Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. Greatest Hits touched my soul like nothing else.
It’s such an underrated song. I find myself hearing bits of Girlfriend (pied Piper Remix) here and there throughout my waking hours. Bump That which is my favorite is a truly B2K sounding song. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Greatest Hits is What A Girl Wants. First time I heard Why I Love You was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.After few listenings I started to like Girlfriend more and more. Voice of B2K in Baby Girl is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. Uh Huh - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Everything (3:57) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
