For older fans Fables and Dreams will put a massive smile accross your face. Since completing 2004’s ‘The Search Goes On’, Lunatica fulfilled their contract with Capitol Records and where under no obligation to release another album. It’s natural for Lunatica to take a stab at ‘The Search Goes On’ considering her long-professed love for Depeche Mode. Fables and Dreams is not something you should pass up.
Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think Avalon is my favorite song on Fables and Dreams. Lunatica allows each song to breathe and flourish. Fable Of Dreams is the more seemingly obscure song on Fables and Dreams that bear up best to repeated listening. No Lunatica song has come close to capturing my attention as Still Believe did. Voice and instruments in The Spell complement each other. Overall a nice softer song. Hymn still maintains something of a specific flourish. Silent Scream is one of the best records ever. Music of A Little Moment Of Desperation is gentle, never overbearing.
