After seeing Oti Ki An Po Den Se Ksexno, I had to have a good George Dalaras cd. fourteen years ago, George Dalaras briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “H Magissa Tis Arapias”. This album is a scorcher!
Get Afieroma Ston Vassili Tsitsani, CD3 and turn on H Magissa Tis Arapias if you are going to sip your wine late at night. Lyrics of Katse N’ Akouseis are precise and evocative. Pira Ti Strata Ki Erxomai is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. To Skalopati Sou still maintains something of a specific flourish. Synnefiasmeni Kyriaki is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Martyria Tsitsani is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. In Pera Sta Kastra Tou Genti the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation.
