This album has some very good songs like Sto Metaksi I Ellada Taksideuei and Kalosorisma. It has been four years George Dalaras’ last studio CD, “Epi Skinis, CD1″ which won Array MTV Music Awards and was nominated for album of the year. After seeing Sto Metaksi I Ellada Taksideuei, I had to have a good George Dalaras cd. This is my first George Dalaras Album and i must say i am blown away.
Kalosorisma makes a person feel cool. The opening track An Iparxei Logos is very much like you would expect from other albums. Logia Kleidomena the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. I listened to the opening track Ta Kithira and liked it a lot. I Dimosthenous Leksis - For me, this is the best of the album. I believe O Thanatos Tou Poiiti is one of the most excellent, heartfelt songs ever written. First time I heard El Emigrante was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Manouela hits the heart. Charming song, great melody. Augoustos is perfect song though, very addictive. To Pollaplo Sou Eidolo is the albums biggest surprise. Lil is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Strong, powerful vocals of George Dalaras in Oso Varoun Ta Sidera are very impressive. When listening to O Zorikos, it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. Kali Tixi is another strong production from George Dalaras. This track is full of harmonies and gets Epi Skinis, CD1 off to a relaxing start. Irtha Ki Apopse Sta Skalopatia Sou was the first single release from the album Epi Skinis, CD1.
