There is so much to love about Diana Ross, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. The Queen In The Mix (CD 2) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. fourteen years ago, Diana Ross briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Love Hangover (88′ PWL 12” Mix)”. IT makes me wanna dance!
The Queen In The Mix (CD 2) couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Love Hangover (88′ PWL 12” Mix). Upside Down 2001 (Dark Shadow Lass Mix) - To me, this is the best song on the The Queen In The Mix (CD 2). I’m Coming Out 2003 (Club Remix) - a classic song. Some call Tenderness (Robbie Rivera Remix) from The Queen In The Mix (CD 2) as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. Take Me Higher (Junior Vasquez DMC Arena Mix) great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.I Will Survive (Hex Hector Club Anthem) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Not Over You Yet (Sharp Diamond Vocal Mix) is the funkiest number on the album. Until We Meet Again (Hex Hector Mix) stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Upside Down (Junior Earth Hella Good Mix) still maintains something of a specific flourish.
