Now signed to Boondox’s Blue Note Records, the title track from second album “The Harvest” leads Boondox’s back-to-school campaign. After seeing Intro, I had to have a good Boondox cd. Self-described as Metal with lots of words, Boondox comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. IT makes me wanna dance!
I find myself hearing bits of Seven here and there throughout my waking hours. Out Here great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool. Some call It Aint a Thang from The Harvest as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Lady in a Jaguar (w/ ICP) as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. In Pray With Snakes you won’t find any flashy solos. Rolling is the first taste of the new album. The Harvest (w/ AMB) motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. First time I heard Sippin’ On Down was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.Nice and different song. Red Mist - I just love it.
