This is the first studio album from Wu-Tang Clan since bad diagnosis in 2004. This is one of the best Cd’s Wu-Tang Clan has dropped to date. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Wu-Tang Clan energies, virtually a rebirth. One of Wu-Tang Clan’s best albums yet.
Legend Of The Wu-Tang Clan: Greatest Hits couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Method Man (Skunk Mix). Album opener Protect Ya Neck (Bloody Version) is a bright, upbeat ditty. Wu-Tang Clan Aint Nuthing Ta F’ Wit is so unique, as each one of the songs is. I came to like Can It Be All So Simple. Shame On A Nigga can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Wu-Tang Clan is all about. Wu-Tang Clan is one of artists that allow his songs like Da Mystery Of Chessboxin’ to stand on their own and be heard. Reunited is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. It’s Yourz had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Triumph (feat. Cappadonna) hits the heart. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Gravel Pit. Protect Ya Neck (The Jump Off) is absolutely incredible. It’s such an underrated song. I hope to keep hearing Wu-Tang Clan works for a long time to come. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. It’s a great pleasure to listen to Diesel (feat. RZA, Method Man, U-God, Raekwon and Ol’ Dirty) from the beginning to the end.
