This -song debut EP shows the promise that RIP SLYME has. There were many famous songs of RIP SLYME available. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of RIP SLYME energies, virtually a rebirth. Such great and happy songs.
Simple and heartfelt closing track Zatsunen Entertainment closes Goob Job! on a high note. One is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Goob Job!. Rakuen Baby is one of these floating songs. Still going through Goob Job! and coming to appreciate Tokyo Classic more and more with every listen. RIP SLYME sings Blue Be-Bop in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Joint is simple, dignified and effective, RIP SLYME refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Hotter Than July is pretty funky and mellow. Dandelion is a amazing song and it grows on you. Galaxy is the song that really did it for me. Tasogare Surround is an upbeat song with a constant snare hit. Matahou Nichi Made actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on RIP SLYME’s face. Strong, powerful vocals of RIP SLYME in Under The Sun are very impressive. More & More is one of the coolest songs RIP SLYME has ever recorded. Stepper’s Delight (Tricky Remix) (Bonus) is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction.
