This is the first studio album from Promoe since bad diagnosis in 2006. While no new Promoe album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2006 tour in South America. Since completing 2006’s ‘Up!’, Promoe fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. This is my first Promoe Album and i must say i am blown away.
This is probably my favorite song on the album. Songs Of Joy is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Promoe ever produced. White Man’s Burden is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Music and lyrics of In The Morning creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. Headache great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.Outside of the singles, my favorite song on White Man’s Burden is Long Sleeves In The Summer. Eurotrash - To me, this is the best song on the White Man’s Burden. Musick Biss Apocalypse to me is the best you can get from Promoe. Post Cards catches attention immediately, This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on White Man’s Burden. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect.
