There were many famous songs of Gomez available. This fourteen-song debut EP shows the promise that Gomez has. Since Gomez last CD (Split The Difference) on Blue Note Records back in 2004, I have felt a massive void in my life. IF you love Gomez, ‘Split The Difference’ Mp3’s is the best!
I was truly moved when I heard These 3 Sins. In Silence it becomes nowhere more obvious that Gomez has yet to define own style. Me, You and Everybody as a highlight of Split The Difference contains a ton of cool melodies. We Don’t Know Where We’re Going is one of the more up-tempo songs on Split The Difference. Sweet Virginia is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. I can’t stop playing Catch Me Up. I loved Where Ya Going the first time I heard it. Meet Me In The City has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Gomez’s strong vocals come to the fore. Gomez offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Nothing Is Wrong is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. There It Was - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Gomez.
