This album has some very good songs like Step in the arena and Just to get a rep. This twelve-song debut EP shows the promise that Gangstarr has. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Ex Girl to next Girl actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Gangstarr’s face. Take it personal is the more seemingly obscure song on Mass appeal Best of that bear up best to repeated listening. Code of the streets is really the reason why I recommend buying Mass appeal Best of. Mass appeal is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Some call The militia from Mass appeal Best of as a quiet invitation of an artist to sit and listen. I can’t stop playing Full clip. Discipline is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Gangstarr released so far. Gangstarr must have run out of lyrics on the next track Nice girl, wrong place. In Skills the music gets its power.
