This is one of the best Cd’s Rocio Durcal has dropped to date. There is no doubt that Rocio Durcal has talent. This album has some very good songs like Mundo Raro and Si Dios Me Quita la Vida. Rocio Durcal “Alma Ranchera” is an amazing album.
Si Dios Me Quita la Vida can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Rocio Durcal is all about. Cucurrucucu Paloma - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. Rocio Durcal is one of artists that allow his songs like Fallaste Coraz to stand on their own and be heard. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Suffro Tu Ausencia because the melody in the chorus is so good. Fiesta en el Coraz is the first taste of the new album. Amanecn Tus Brazos is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Echame a Ma Culpa one of the best in my collection. Media Vuelta is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Esta Tristeza M is one of the best records ever. Te Parto el Alma is probably one of Rocio Durcal’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely.
