For older fans The Silenced Revolution will put a massive smile accross your face. Self-described as Rap: Hip-Hop with lots of words, Immortal Technique comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. The Silenced Revolution carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is one of the best cd’s i have heard through the whole thing.
belly of the beast as well as many of songs is a short story in miniature. Album opener black out special is a bright, upbeat ditty. caught in a hustle makes a person feel astounding. hip hop speach is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. hok remix ft. breez evaflowin is possibly the best song Immortal Technique has come up. Only one song from The Silenced Revolution named underground railroad freestyle really got me. Music of razor death blade stick is gentle, never overbearing. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: the rebel, which shows, blatantly, how much Immortal Technique has evolved as a singer. Listening to the other white meat ft. soul purpose you can hear that Immortal Technique has still amazing chemistry with band members. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. I find myself hearing bits of keepin it raw ft. c-rayz walz here and there throughout my waking hours. Immortal Technique sings fight until the end ft. sabac in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Although audio technician ft. l.i.f.e. long is very melodic it is far from sad. bangers freestyle - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Immortal Technique. battle vs. flow was the first single release from the album The Silenced Revolution. battle vs. postaboy - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. After you’ve listened to battle vs. c-rayz walz, most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. In dance with the devil (instrumental) the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation.
