Goa 2005 Vol 1 is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Since Astrix last CD (Goa 2005 Vol 1) on Capitol Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is no doubt that Astrix has talent. This is one of Astrix best albums
After you’ve listened to Stonefield (Symphonix Vs Xibalba), most everything else can’t hold up and is second rate. Ignition (Silicon sound) - I just love it. Play Boy (S Apocalypse) - another great track from the Goa 2005 Vol 1 album. Last Process (Rumble Pack) is the albums biggest surprise. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Goa 2005 Vol 1 is Your Own Reality (Planet Ben). In The One (Neelix) the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Walldorf and Stettler (Native Radio) is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Legolam (Nasa) has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. Blissful Guiadiance (Interys) is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. Blew our minds when we first heard Pendulum (Beat Brothers RMX; Four Carry Nuts). Vocals of Astrix in Illumina (Dj Bim Vs silent Sphere) really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. Astrix offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Astrix allows each song to breathe and flourish. Chill Thrill Troopers (Chromosome) is probably the most interesting track on Goa 2005 Vol 1. Underbeat (Astrix) has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Astrix’s strong vocals come to the fore. Sqeeze The Day (4 Wind circles feat Flow Job) - Check out that bassline!
