There is no doubt that The Highwaymen has talent. After debuting at No. 1 last week, The Highwaymen’s album The Highwaymen falls to No. 2 with 259,000, a sales slide of 54%. This is one of the best Cd’s The Highwaymen has dropped to date. I wish that “The Highwaymen” album was instrumental.
On The Road Again (Live) hits the heart. Jesse Younger good vocals. The Highwaymen breathes new life into the music in Big River (Live). Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain - I like this one. The Highwaymen offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. Sunday Morning Coming Down (Live) is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Song Luckenbach, Texas (Live) is actually a funny song. Dont Think Twice, Its Alright is cool song though, very addictive. This song is dynamic and dramatic. I Got Stripes (Live) gets you up and jumping. Sally Was A Good Old Girl gives taste of what makes The Highwaymen special as a musician. Casey’s Last Ride actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on The Highwaymen’s face. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. The Long Black Veil (Live) - A strong beat. Big Mamou has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Angel Flying Too Close to the Ground is the most memorable and gorgeous. Orange Blossom Special (Live) (4:01) a good melody. A unique and uplifting song. This song may be the most meaningful. Burning Memories is simply astounding. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. Undo The Right sets the tone for the entire album. Loves Gonna Live Here - A classic The Highwaymen track. If I Were A Carpenter (Live)) is one of my favorite songs by The Highwaymen. Whiskey River (Live) is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Ring of Fire (live) is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Jesus Was A Capricorn on The Highwaymen is solid and easy to listen to. When listening to Seven Spanish Angels (Live), it gives me such an energy rush it’s unbelievable. Folsom Prison Blues motivates you to get up and do something to improve your life and the life of others. Lyrics of White Lightning are precise and evocative. Blame It on the Times is a striking and quite long song. Jackson (Live) is a very catchy tune. The Highwaymen allows each song to breathe and flourish. The Highwaymen sings Out of Mind, Out of Sight in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Red Headed Stranger has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. City of New Orleans (Live) can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what The Highwaymen is all about.
