After debuting at No. 1 last week, Sidonie’s album Fascinado falls to No. 2 with 165,000, a sales slide of 51%. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Sidonie on ‘Fascinado’. Jim Jones has compared writing for Sidonie’s new album to that on ‘Fascinado’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Another great offering from Sidonie.
Dos murcilagos is simple, dignified and effective, Sidonie refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. Although Bohme is very melodic it is far from sad. Put Fiebre into car stereo for your highway driving Jardin polar is the funkiest number on the album. Gente De Barrett - For me, this is the best of the album. Joe is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. M T A - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Once Tienes Gracia gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. This song may be the most meaningful.
