Alaska Melting carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. seven years ago, Monolake briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Melting”. Lead single “Alaska” and “Melting” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Monolake “Alaska Melting” is an amazing album.
Melting is the album’s biggest hit, I think.
