This is one of the best Cd’s Kevin Locke has dropped to date. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Kevin Locke on ‘Hand Games’. I am not a real New Age music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Midnight Strong Heart’ really is amazing. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Kevin Locke ever.
Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Midnight Strong Heart is Waniya. No Kevin Locke song has come close to capturing my attention as Buffalo Dance did. Morning Star is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. Inkpata still maintains something of a specific flourish. You can find feelings on this piece of art. It’s Hard To Be An Indian (Vocal) - This is a very lively song. It’s Hard To Be An Indian - A classic Kevin Locke track. Itancanyapi (Vocal) is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. The song Itancanyapi (Instrumental) ending is my favorite… so catchy! This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. When I listen to A Secret Love in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Abu Abu is probably one of Kevin Locke’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to.
