Sing!! With Im From Barcelona isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of I’m from Barcelona on ‘We’re From Barcelona’. Now signed to I’m from Barcelona’s EMI Records, the title track from second album “Sing!! With Im From Barcelona” leads I’m from Barcelona’s back-to-school campaign. I’m from Barcelona is one of my favourite bands of all time.
Treehouse is the more seemingly obscure song on Sing!! With Im From Barcelona that bear up best to repeated listening. Rec & Play stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. A unique and uplifting song. The Painter is pretty funky and mellow. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing.
