Since completing 2004’s ‘Razorbliss’, Flowing Tears fulfilled their contract with ForeFront Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Razorbliss carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. On the Portugal charts, superstar Flowing Tears’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This is my first Flowing Tears Album and i must say i am blown away.
Once you hear Believe, you will listen to it over and over. The sound in Virago is really warm and Flowing Tears’s signature voice is still very much present. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Razorbliss is Undying. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Firedream is nothing but pure genius. Ballad Of A Lonely God (3:36) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. I was truly moved when I heard Snakes Of Grey. In Mine Is The Ocean the music gets its power. Maladine is the funkiest number on the album. Unspoken is a very catchy tune. Flowing Tears is one of artists that allow his songs like Pitch Black Water to stand on their own and be heard.
