Lead single “Exhibit Of The Year” and “Triple Black” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. There is so much to love about Down To Earth Approach, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Bun B. Hear has compared writing for Down To Earth Approach’s new album to that on ‘Another Intervention’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. To me Down To Earth Approach is the best band ever.
The first time I listened to Triple Black I was struck by its exquisite sound. This is one of those songs that musicians strive to write and create. I love the melodic melody of We’re Sleeping and to this day it makes me feel good. Honey and Vinegar is probably the highlight of the album. Books On Tape - Check out that bassline! Permanently gets you up and jumping. Face First - For me, this is the best of the album. All We Have is a very catchy tune. Strong, powerful vocals of Down To Earth Approach in Lights are very impressive. Living Rooms can be hardly overrated by any means; this is what Down To Earth Approach is all about.
