Self-described as Metal: Death,Black with lots of words, Dusk comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. six years ago, Dusk briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Return”. Since Dusk last CD (The Darksoul’s Scream) on Capitol Records back in 2005, I have felt a massive void in my life. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like The Darksoul’s Scream.
Return - For me, this is the best of the album. I have all of Dusk’s tracks and An Image About An Infinitely Cold Soul is probably the most his introspective effort. This song may be the most meaningful. Ashes - arguably the best track on The Darksoul’s Scream album.
