After seeing Stinging Rain, I had to have a good Capercaillie cd. Capercaillie had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. There were many famous songs of Capercaillie available. Capercaillie “Grace and Pride - The Anthology 1984 - 2004″ is an amazing album.
Who Will Raise Their Voice - another great track from the Grace and Pride - The Anthology 1984 - 2004 album. This track is just fantastic from start to finish. Mile Marbhaisg is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Homer s Reel one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. Miracle of Being (Youth Remix) - This one makes me want to not only sing along. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. Listening to Grace and Pride you can hear that Capercaillie has still amazing chemistry with band members. You can find feelings on this piece of art. Silver Spear Reels marked the continuation of Capercaillie in style evolution. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song. Dean Cadalan - Servant To The Slave catches attention immediately, No Capercaillie song has come close to capturing my attention as Hoireann O did. Get Grace and Pride - The Anthology 1984 - 2004 and turn on Pige Ruadh if you are going to sip your wine late at night. The Snuff Wife Jigs is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen. Charming song, great melody. Waiting For The Wheel To Turn (12- Mix) is a good listen every once in a while. Co Ni Mire Rium make listening to Capercaillie like being in some sort of time warp. Dr Macphail s Reel is a medium tempo tune. I like to sing along with Beautiful Wasteland, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Heart of the Highland (3:49) a good melody. Am Mur Gorm - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. I can’t stop humming along Coisich a Ruin (12- Mix). Finlays is a great song for a cosy night in when it’s cold and wintry outside. Fisherman s Dream is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. Voice and instruments in Clo Mhic Ille Mhicheil complement each other. This song is dynamic and dramatic. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Grace and Pride - The Anthology 1984 - 2004. Fosgail An Dorus - Nighean Bhuidh Ruadh has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Capercaillie’s strong vocals come to the fore. Ailein Duinn is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Excellent vocals and musical performances. Calurn s Road is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. The sound of Fear-Allabain is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Eastern Reel is the albums biggest surprise. An Ribhinn Donn is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. The Little Cascade is a astounding song and it grows on you.
