This album has some very good songs like No Reason and Forgotten. Forbidden Empathy - Disc 1 - Graceful… Yet Forbidding isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Since completing 2005’s ‘No Reason’, Callenish Circle fulfilled their contract with Blue Note Records and where under no obligation to release another album. Enjoy the show.
This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Callenish Circle. Nice and different song. Callenish Circle allows each song to breathe and flourish. I like the idea behind Broken. Oppressed Natives is probably the highlight of the album. From the moment you listen to Silent Tears you’re hooked. I love the melodic melody of Passionate Dance (Intro) and to this day it makes me feel good. Opening track Caught By Deceit shows the best of Callenish Circle. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. This song stands out greatly from the others. Callenish Circle rocks harder than ever with Silent Tears (Escape Ep). Epacse (Escape Ep) is a great song to contemplate the modern music and what it really is all about. Don’t judge Broken (Escape Ep) on the first listening. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on Forbidden Empathy - Disc 1 - Graceful… Yet Forbidding.
