This album has some very good songs like Om Mani Padme Hum (Short Version) and Om Mani Peme Hung Hrih. Budi Siebert had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Budi Siebert was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Budi Siebert and Om Mani Padme Hum together. Om Mani Padme Hum is the best essence of Budi Siebert.
One listen to the sheer beauty of Om Mani Peme Hung Hrih was all I needed. Don’t judge Lotus Call, Pt. 1 (Vajra Guru Mantra) on the first listening. The Lotus in the Mountains is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. The Lotus People is a excellent sing-along. The sound of Free Spirit is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Wind from the Temple is probably the most interesting track on Om Mani Padme Hum. I like to sing along with Lotus Call, Pt. 2, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. To All Living Beings is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses. Budi Siebert has created something that grabs you by the heart and gets you moving. Still going through Om Mani Padme Hum and coming to appreciate Om Mani Peme Hung Hrih (Mantra Version) more and more with every listen. Breeze from Lotus Mountain - To me, this is the best song on the Om Mani Padme Hum.
