After debuting at No. 1 last week, Burn In Silence’s album Angel Maker falls to No. 2 with 200,000, a sales slide of 96%. Angel Maker is an amazing album, racked with beauty. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Burn In Silence energies, virtually a rebirth. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
After about the third Rebirth listen through, I began to believe this song is Burn In Silence’s essence. Still going through Angel Maker and coming to appreciate The Age In Which Tomorrow Brings more and more with every listen. Burn In Silence sings Embrace The Plague in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Primal Human Pain is a strong cut, one of many. Once Angel Maker gets in your head, it will NEVER leave. Judging Hope is the more seemingly obscure song on Angel Maker that bear up best to repeated listening. Well Adjusted to me is the best you can get from Burn In Silence. Voice of Burn In Silence in Watching Dead Leaves Fall is honest and guitar work is subtle and poignant. World Of Regret - Check out that bassline!
