I am not a real Folk music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Bert Jansch’ really is amazing. Self-described as Folk with lots of words, Bert Jansch comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. When you buy a Bert Jansch album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Bert Jansch is not something you should pass up.
The first time I listened to Angie I was struck by its excellent sound. This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Courting Blues is a great opener for Bert Jansch. Do you hear me now is amazing song though, very addictive. Dreams Of love is Bert Jansch’s best work in years. Finches is the perfect blend of moody yet optimistic tunes. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. In Needle Of death the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Oh How your Love Is strong is one of the coolest songs Bert Jansch has ever recorded. Rambling’s Going to be The death of me pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. Runnig Runnig from home is the albums lead single as well as biggest hit. There is cool mix of music in Smokey River. Strowling down the Highway good vocals. I can’t stop playing Veronica.
