After debuting at No. 1 last week, Bleep’s album Datenbergbau falls to No. 2 with 670,000, a sales slide of 57%. After seeing Coils, I had to have a good Bleep cd. Datenbergbau isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. This is what good Indie should be.
It’s such an underrated song. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: S.I.F., which shows, blatantly, how much Bleep has evolved as a singer. This track is a fabulous selection of easy listening, suitable for any age, taste or occasion. The song feels complete.
