There is so much to love about Arab Strap, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Arab Strap on ‘Stink’. The Last Romance (U.S. Advance) isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. IT makes me wanna dance!
I like (If There’s) No Hope For Us because it’s extremely catchy and has awesome drumming. Still going through The Last Romance (U.S. Advance) and coming to appreciate Chat In Amsterdam, Winter 2003 more and more with every listen. Arab Strap allows each song to breathe and flourish. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Come Round And Love Me (2:59) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in The Last Romance (U.S. Advance). Dream Sequence good vocals. Fine Tuning is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Arab Strap is one of artists that allow his songs like There Is No Ending to stand on their own and be heard. El Paso Song is the albums biggest surprise. Go Back To The Sea is pretty funky and mellow.
