Jim Jones has compared writing for 65daysofstatic’s new album to that on ‘One Time For All Time’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of 65daysofstatic on ‘Drove Through Ghosts To Get Here’. On One Time For All Time album, 65daysofstatic have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Nice and different song. Don’t judge Welcome To The Times on the first listening. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in One Time For All Time. This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on One Time For All Time. The Big Afraid is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. 65 Doesn’t Understand You - arguably the best track on One Time For All Time album. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in One Time For All Time.
